Bagda is quietly but steadily becoming a popular weekend destination for millennials who enjoy beach camping. Bagda is a small seaside village in Odisha’s Balasore Tehsil, located 30 kilometers from Balasore and accessible 5 hours from Kolkata. This lovely location is well connected to major neighboring destinations. Bagda and Dublagadi are two nearby beaches that have a long expanse of white, pristine sand.
This is a fantastic weekend getaway from Kolkata. This charming little village of Bagda is the greatest alternative if you are looking for the peacefulness of a sea beach that has seen relatively few adventure-seeking souls too far.
What to Look into:
Bagda has a lot more to offer than just a virgin beach. There are other historic temples nearby, including Swapneswar Mahadev Mandir, the world’s largest Mahavir Statue, and the exquisite Bahabalpur Shiv Temple.
